The Martin Community Center is th ideal location for any event. With reasonable rates, the various areas can be tailored to suit your needs. There is also ample parking outside.

The Community Center has been rented for many occasions. Wedding receptions, business seminars, class reunions, formal dinners, and concerts are only a few of the events for which the Center has been used by people from Marshall and the surrounding areas. Local dining establishments and hotel accommodations help make the Community Center the perfect location for hosting an event requiring more than one day or evening.

The spacious, efficient catering kitchen features two warming ovens to accommodate prepared food for a large crowd, an over-sized refrigerator with shelves for food trays, and a 400-lb capacity ice machine.

The VIP room, located upstairs, is perfect for business meetings, wedding or baby showers, or small groups gathering for any occasion.

The staff at the Martin Community Center will set up any size area to suit your needs. The moveable interior walls can be manipulated to provide a table arrangement to accommodate up to 500 people or a theater-style arrangement to accommodate up to 650 people. Tables, podium, PA with CD player, and wireless internet service is included. Linens, stage sound equipment, projector, and screens are available to rent.

A list of approved caterers is provided, or you may choose a caterer of your own, with management approval. The staff will help you with set-up for your event.

Come by any weekday from 8am to 4pm to tour the facility and speak with a representative who can answer your questions. Book your event soon, and entertain your guests in style and comfort.

Formal setting Several tables

Anything from casual lunches or snacks to formal dinners can be served efficiently. Table linens add elegance to the occasion. The catering kitchen, with serving window, is perfect for pass-through vending or as the area from which servers may present an elegant meal.

Linens are available to rent. Large round tables can be set for a maximum of 10 people. Contoured chairs are attractive and comfortable
